Since I last updated, so much has gone on. I will give you a brief highlight.
Grandma Judy and Pops got married (it was beautiful)!
Jason and Lydia got married!!!!
Stephen and Ally got married!!!!
Gavin started school, and Eliza thought she did.

Gavin had the BEST kindergarten teacher a kid could ask for.
Gavin did a math-a-thon for school-then he donated the prize he won to the children of St Jude.
Gavin started Cub Scouts and Eliza has decided she is ready for Girl Scouts.
Eliza has started doing preschool at home.
Sam turned 30! We had a party complete with banana splits.
I turned 30. For once I celebrated my birthday. We went to a concert at Smith Berry Winery. They had a Beatles tribute band.
We saw a bus (we call it the hippy bus) covered in plants. We couldn't resist a photo op. We also got to see a Beatles tribute band there as well (seeing a theme?).
Sam lost his job, got a new job, got a better job, lost that job, and then got a better job again. If that was too confusing, Sam has had good luck with getting a job right before he was to be unemployed and he has seemed to move up every time he finds a new job.
Sam graduated from college! Our super amazing neighbors gave him one heck of a surprise party!
Eliza loves: My Little Ponies (to the point that we call it MLP), Disney Princesses (Elsa being the most popular), Superheroes, and Peter Pan (complete with Captain Hook).
Gavin is still into comics and superheroes. He is also really into reading. Gavin loves his Magic Tree house books.
Comic Conventions have become a family event!
The Renaissance Fair is a family event as well.
The kids are the best of friends!
They both collect sports cards.
Gavin and Eliza's favorite past times are: dancing, singing with the radio, playing with Legos, and reading together. As for outside, they enjoy: skateboards, scooters, bubbles, basketball, kickball, and chalk.
Eliza is teaching daddy how to have tea parties.
Over the winter the kids learned to snowboard down the driveway thanks to our neighbor.
Eliza has decided over the past few months that she loves dresses.
Gavin has decided that he enjoys ties and that bow ties are cool.
Going to Bats baseball games has become a favorite family event.

Gavin loves being Batman for Halloween (we are talking Batman every year).
Eliza loves being a pirate princess for Halloween.
The kids have had their picture in the paper at least once a year (I am not sure why the newspaper picks our family). They also got to see their Gramps in the paper!
Signing Time is our favorite way to practice our signing.
The neighbors have helped with countless house projects, just as much as my father has.
The animals have been productive. Pumpkin has caught at least four mice a year, and Carly has caught at least one rabbit a year.
Jez passed last year.
We had gerbils for a while. The kids named them Gandalf and Sarumon.
Gavin has started conquering his fears.
Eliza got dolls that are almost bigger than she is.
Sam has started reading in his past time.
I edited two books.
I got a new sewing machine!!!
I joined two non for profits.
I got told that I resembled Audrey Hepburn (holy smokes right?).
We said goodbye to cousin Connor for two years.
Connor and I also decided to recreate a picture for Grandma before he left!
We made the periodic table out of cupcakes!
The photography is going, but I am turning my focus to crafting.
Candles have been the main focus for the past year. We have really enjoyed making them as well as marketing them.
Candle supply day is a favorite around here. The kids love to play in all of the packing peanuts.
Cochlear implants worked on our cousin!
We love package day from Aunt Angela! There are always lots of fun things to open.
Finally, we have gotten two new cousins! One on Sam's side and one on my side.
Well, I think that brings you all up to date (enough that is). If I get on the ball and keep this blog going, there will be more posts to come shortly.

This is our updated picture.
