Recently

Lots have been going on here and I am sorry that I have not updated well.  We have been a bit busy. 

To start off with our neighbors just came home so Gavin has been non stop wanting to see them.  Connie just got home after three weeks at home in Michigan. Please do keep the family in prayer though because it will be a rough road for a little while. 

The weekend before last, we had some fun visitors.  Our friends Mollie, Victoria, and Max came down.  They came down on Friday night and stayed until Saturday late.  We had such a fun time.  Gavin really enjoyed seeing Ve again.  Mollie has put me to work though.  We went fabric shopping without the kids (first time in a long time for me to do that).  I have lots of dresses to make for Victoria and some baby shower gifts that Mollie wants me to start on.  Ve is doing very well on her prosthetic leg.  It was good to see her up and going.  That girl can move.  Sorry I don't have any pictures but we were a bit busy keeping everyone in check.

Earlier that Friday we had some other visitors.  I am starting to watch another little one every once in a while.  He is a great little boy.  Mr Adin is the perfect playmate for both Gavin and Eliza...it depends on what he wants to play with.

Our other visitor was Great Grandma Janice.  She was in town to see a doctor but had some free time after getting in and out early.  Poor Grandma Janice did not have but maybe 30 seconds of time to process anything.  Gavin was calling for her every second.  He did get to show her all kinds of new things that has and that he has done recently. 

After all the fun was over we started going through the house.  We are going to have a garage sale this spring, so we are getting a jump on going through the house.  We had already started the kitchen but decided to tackle the kids rooms that Sunday.  We did finish and it was nice. 

This past week we did not do much other than keep working on getting through all the stuff in the house.  We had dinner with the Rakers one night...it was the perfect night because we had not done dishes for a couple of days.  Gavin was excited for dinner too because that meant he got to play with Jayden.  Thank goodness for boys wearing each other out.  The next day we went out and got some flowers and cards for the neighbors. Then found out another neighbor lost a loved one so we went a bit later and got some more flowers and cards.  Gavin also got in some serious trouble with not looking while playing with the neighbors kids.  The weather was amazing last week too (in between the monsoons that is).

Last weekend Gavin went with Gigi to see a dinosaur thing at the fairgrounds but they could not get in so they went to Chucky Cheese.  That was a great few hours to get things done around the house.  We also went to see the chicks at Rural King. 

So that is where we have been that past couple of weeks.  Busy, busy, busy.
