The Zoo

So our super cool neighbors took us to the zoo yesterday.  It was loads of fun until a certain little lady had enough (when she became a screaming fit...stomach ache but still).  We got there when the doors opened and stayed until around 3 in the afternoon.  We only made it through half of the park but we had a ton of fun.  We decided to go back another time to go through the rest...maybe when it is cooler.  It was not super crowded at the zoo but there were a few people there.  Most of them went to the splash park after lunch...probably why the kid threw up all over the place (we did not get to stay there long because they had to sanitize the place right after).

We did get to see the new exhibit they have with the polar bears (Sam's favorite).  It was done very well.  We got to see the tiger training...very amusing since it roared when they were done (it was getting food every time it did the right thing).  The roar made Gavin light up!  If I could have gotten a picture of his face when that happened.  Finally we let him feed some birds.  That was a lot of fun (until they had a little squabble on his arm...he came out with a few war scars...scratches)  So here are the pictures of our day.  A big thank you to the unknown lady who got us all in for the price of one adult and our neighbors wanting to take us (and treating us to lunch).
