Where do you get the time???

This is a phrase I have heard quite a bit over the past week.  Where do you get the time to workout?  Where do you get the time to craft?  Where do you get the time to bake?  Frankly I am not sure where I get the time, but I get it and take it.  The nice part for me is that I have a three year old who likes to do this stuff with me.  He likes to craft, build things, and help me bake.
So here is what I have done over the past so many days.  I have practiced some landscape photography after getting inspired by a friend of mine.  I have made some bows, tutus, and some baby shower presents.  Finally I baked 5 dozen cupcakes to decorate and made a watermelon baby carriage.  Wow, I feel tired just saying all of that.

Gavin has been up to all kinds of crazy.  Lets just say he has got some people wrapped around his little finger too.  Every time we see some friends he gets to watch his shows.  WARNING:  my child will win your heart over, but he is a major pain in the rear at times too.  He is definitely NO angel.  Here is one example.  He finally got some sidewalk chalk.  He however only gets to use it on the steps to our house because I have to watch our other child as well.  Well, I go into the laundry room one day just to check on one piece of clothing and the next thing I know he is gone!  Like gone gone.  He is not on that front step anymore.  I think my heart skipped a beat.  I put the baby down and run outside to find him.  When I walk outside I start yelling for him.  Next thing I know is that he appears from around the corner.  It was like he had gone to the neighbors house but they were not at home.  So you may be asking if I was relieved????  Kind of, as well as very ticked off.  He was very lucky I was in shell shock.  He then proceeded to spend an hour in time out and we had yet another serious talk about what could happen to nice little boys.  Next we read the strangers book from the Bernstein bear series.  I think he may have got it.  Pray that he got it!

Now what did the little chunk a lunk do this past week?  She ate, slept, and she had some diapers.  Not really much to report on with a baby other than she has been a little off kilter because we put her on regular formula with a little added rice cereal.  It seems to do the same think that the rice formula did, so I am happy.  I think she is happy too, at least fat and happy.  She is starting to get some chunky little thighs on her and some chubby cheeks.  She is smiling a lot of the time but she does get cranky before her naps.  She is sleeping a lot at night though!!!  We are talking a good 8 hours and sometimes more.

Finally I have been thinking about reading our bible a lot lately.  I just was not sure how to start.  There are so many ways to read the bible.  I have only attempted at reading it from front to back before (but always lost interest) so I did a little research.  I stumbled across a few different ways and decided on one.  I had also thought about an idea of doing a blog for bible reading.  Sometimes I just don't understand the references made in small group or with other church functions and I am sure I am not the only one.  Also there might be other people new to their faith or even not so new that just need to focus on their faith from the Word.  So I sent the idea to our church founder and he took the idea and ran with it.  We are going to try and launch this idea.  When we do I will post it up just in case you don't go to our church and would like to follow along with us.  It will be just like this blog only set up with probably some questions to get you thinking bout the reading and it will have the readings for the week posted.  It will also be set up like mine to be able to leave comments.  I am so excited to be able to possibly touch the world with our little journey.  Please support us and give us prayers to make this a big success.
